Description

Competencies:
(1)    Complete Grade XII or Grade XII Equivalent.  Experience in busy office environment.
(2)    Minimum education of a certificate or diploma in Office Education from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
(3)    Typing:  Ability:  50 w.p.m.
(4)    Computer:  The ability to operate automated systems to input, store and retrieve information including IEIS, CPIC, SGI, Microsoft Office products.
(5)    CPIC (Thorough Knowledge):  Detailed understanding of CPIC data banks, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive and reliable information service to clients and to minimize impact on audit errors.  Must take and pass the CPIC training course.
(6)    Radio Codes:  The ability to use alpha, phonetic, and nine and ten codes for radio communication.
(7)    Legislation:  General knowledge of the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Bylaws.
(8)    IEIS (Good Knowledge):  The ability to access, query and retrieve and input basic information to IEIS.
(9)    Report Flow:  The ability to understand and apply routing requirements and assignment procedures for incident reports and associated forms.
(10)    Organization:  The ability to coordinate work schedules and time for maximum efficiency and productivity.
(11)    Accuracy:  The ability to demonstrate attentiveness, meticulousness and exactness to detail particularly in high volume work situations.
(12)    Must be willing to work shifts on a rotating basis (days, evenings, nights and weekends.)
(13)    Ability to handle multi-tasking and remain calm under pressure.
