Description

KUDU currently has a job opening for a Pump Technician in our Kindersley location. This position is responsible for testing pumps. Assesses and repairs pump problems; make recommendations and maintains accurate records. Controls inventory of repair parts and accessories. This position may require on call work on weekends and evenings. This position will report to the Field Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering and testing pumps
Prepare orders as needed
Maintaining shop inventory
Responsible for shop cleanliness
Repairing tools
Ensure compliance with KUDUs Health and Safety policies as well ensure that safe work practices are used
Ability to work with a team or independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work overtime as required
Understands established quality standards and performs quality checks, per work area instructions
Performs and /or cross-trains on other job functions and/or duties as directed

Desired Skills:
Mechanical ability
Knowledge of artificial lift, drilling and production operations would be an asset
Meets or exceeds daily workload requirements
Clean drivers abstract and a minimum Class 5 operators license
Must provide a drivers abstract


Education/Qualification:
Functional capability with standard office software
Professional with solid communication and customer service skills
Lean Manufacturing knowledge is desirable
General manufacturing experience
Demonstrate an initiative to develop and learn new skills
