At National Trailer Parts Warehouse (NTPW), we operate with a team approach.   As such, the successful candidate will willingly help out anywhere needed by the company.  As Assistant Logistics Manager and Part-Time Truckdriver, he or she will work closely with Logistics and the Warehouse to ensure accuracy of our operations and effectiveness of our procedures.

The candidate will be fully responsible for:
    Monthly scheduling of our Route trucks.
    Running the trucking department,including scheduling all repairs and up keep of units.
    Checking log books. Verifying expenses.
    Experienced Class 1A driver to fill in part time as required by NTPW.  Minimum 2 years experience required, preferably 3 +.

Additionally, the candidate will routinely assist the Warehouse Foreman and Supply Chain with:
    Any shipper/receiver functions as requested - pick freight orders, receive incoming orders
    Advising supply chain of inventory discrepancies in warehouse
    Scheduling of all incoming inventory.
    Assist in coordination and execution of inventory control, including mid-year and year end physical inventory.
    Acquire freight quotes from logistic companies for common carrier shipments.
    Use electronic shipping systems, internet shipping systems and also manual shipping systems.
    Tracking lost shipments from common carriers.
    Logging daily shipments.
    Advising supply chain of inventory discrepancies in warehouse
    any other duties as requested or as required by NTPW at any time
