The Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services Inc. (YTCCFS), is seeking a Receptionist for the Central Office. This position provides emergent admin support coverage and report to the Executive Assistant.
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Cree, Nakota, and Saulteaux culture and language as well as the political and social objectives of the member First Nations
-Knowledge of the FSIN Indian Child and Family Support Act and Saskatchewan Child Welfare Act
-Must possess a Certificate in Office Administration from a recognized training institution or the equivalent of training and work experience in this field
-Must have ability to utilize computer hardware and software applications and other office equipment
-Must possess a typing speed of at least 45 wpm.
-Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication
-Ability to respond clearly and courteously to inquiries from clients, other agencies and co-workers
-Ability to manage, maintain and update various filing systems
-Must be able to prioritize tasks in an environment with conflicting demands and changing priorities
-Must pass security screening and sign an Oath of Confidentiality
-Must possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
-Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
-Preference will be given to Aboriginal applicants
Candidates selected for an interview are required to provide a current Criminal Record Check, a Prohibited Drug Test Report Certified by a member in good standing of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan; and proof of education upon attending the interview.
