Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Supply Chain. Reporting the Manager, Project Services, this position is located in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office.  If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the project set up process, preparing the Project Management Plan and rolling out these processes to project staff  
Managing Bidder pre-qualifications, tender packages, tender evaluations, purchase order awards, expediting, materials management and purchase administration
Managing construction contract expression of interest, tenders, tender evaluations, formulation of conformed contracts and change orders
Administrating contracts to ensure cost and schedule compliance, contract close out and claims resolution
Preparing project reports for procurement activities, material control and contract activities
Providing mentorship to junior staff members and provide a supportive environment to the supply chain team
Responsible for department staffing and project resource forecasting
Responsible for performance development reviews of all direct reports
Role Requirements
Relevant technical diploma/university degree with a minimum of 10 years purchasing and contracts administration experience on heavy industrial projects within a construction environment is required
CPP Designation or equivalent would be considered an asset
Professional Contracts Administrator designation would be considered an asset
Prior knowledge of Convero Project Management System would be considered an asset
Previous experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Construction Work Packages (CWP) and their application when developing/using progress monitoring is required
