Applications are currently being accepted for the position of a casual Office Assistant for the Town of Saltcoats.
The successful applicant must be available for both scheduled and short notice shifts.
Duties and responsibilities:
Reception duties and telephone coverage
Issuing Receipts
Filing
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Composing and editing, newsletters, adgendas, brochures and reports
Booking facilities and meetings
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Diploma or Certificate in Office Education or a related post-secondary program
Minimum one year office experience
Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Municipal office experience would be considered an asset
