Position Overview:
The Plant Analyst will support the plant to ensure data integrity, assist with inventory & receiving/shipping controls, reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing accounting inputs for month end close.
Key Functions:
-Plan and perform physical inventory observations.
-Assist with ensuring local key internal controls are properly and effectively executed with respect to receiving and shipping, scale system integrity, as well as internal measures of inventory transfers and product flows.
-Investigate material usage variances (MUVs) in excess of standards, identify root cause & recommend corrective action.
-Collect and report daily, weekly & monthly production data and KPRs in an efficient, accurate & timely manner.
Educational Background:
-Bachelors degree in business, operations management, and related degree preferred.
-Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Exposure to using enterprise business applications such as SAP or comparable system and capability to become a power user.
-Experience with end-user tools e.g. MS Excel, Word. Lotus Notes.
-Versatility, flexibility, and analytical skills are essential.
