We are currently seeking an individual who is innovative and committed to providing a recreation program that supports resident directed care and the Mission, Vision and Values of Samaritan Place. This position is the HOMEs lead for Staff Safety initiatives and is the Employers Co-Chair for the OHS Committee.
The successful candidate will possess a combination of relevant educational qualifications and leadership experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or Certificate in a health related field or in health care administration.
Specialized training or experience in Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology or other long term care health profession.
Must have demonstrated leadership qualities and superb interpersonal relationship skills.
Creative and enthusiastic to seek opportunities for collaborating.
Demonstrated commitment to resident directed philosophy is essential.
Safety for Supervisor training and experience with Safety programs in Health Care will be considered an asset.
