Adecco is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager in Regina, SK to start immediately. Our client, a major player in the tire and automotive industry, has over 250 locations across Canada. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing all day to day operations of the warehouse including; providing leadership, inventory management, and coaching and mentoring of all warehouse employees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities for the Warehouse Manager will include;
- Oversee the day to day operations within the warehouse; prioritizing shipments, flow of paperwork, delegation of tasks
- Liaise with purchasing department to maintain stock and inventory levels
- Ensure health and safety is adhered to by all staff members and address and resolve any concerns
- Ensure programs and policies are carried out and followed by all staff members appropriately
- Lead, coach and mentor employees to achieve individual and team success
- Conduct employee reviews and recommend discipline action when required
- Participate in hiring, training and termination of employees
- Determine deadlines and develop appropriate assignments for team members
Qualifications Include;
- Previous experience in a supervisory role; preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
- Working knowledge of the tire and / or automotive industry
- Strong leadership skill, with the ability to motive others
- Proven interpersonal skills, ability to create credibility and build strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with process flow change
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Forklift certification an asset
