RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR functions including processing and maintaining personnel files, time sheets, instructor files, payroll and benefits paperwork.
Provides corporate admin support to the CEO and the Board including taking minutes of Board meetings.
Provides general assistance to other core work elements especially marketing; assisting with set up, take down and staffing of public displays.
Responsible for website related items including updating web content on a routine basis.
Provide support to the finance department occasionally as needed.
Issue charitable receipts and handle the Patty Cash.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Ideally the skills that would be developed in post secondary education in Business Administration and/or Human resources.
Experience:
3-5 years experience in HR and Administration.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Tact in dealing with the public, staff and instructors.
Understanding of the need for protection of privacy of information.
Demonstrated adeptness in conflict resolution.
Strong communication, interpersonal and public relations skills.
Well developed time management skills.
Competent in fiscal management and has some financial knowledge.
Well developed computer skills.
High attention to detail.
Equivalent combinations of the above may be considered.
