This is a position for someone who is a well-organized and a hard worker with great social skills. Mechanical knowledge and computer skills are an asset.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers requesting parts.
Maintain a neat, well organized department in which parts can be quickly and easily located.
Manage the parts inventory to optimize parts turns and minimize ordering time.
Check all shipments received for accuracy and take corrective action as needed.
Serving customers in over the counter clothing and parts sales.
Assist in looking up replacement parts.
Ordering customer and parts stocking orders.
Responsible for receiving all incoming parts goods.
Ensure correct quantities for items that have been received as per vendor invoice.
Storage of all items and parts placed in proper area and bins.
Ensure receiving of components is done accurately and on a timely basis.
Assist in inventory control (re-ordering low inventory stock).
Insure correct parts numbers and pricing is on show floor items.
Assist in return accessories, clothing and returnable parts.
Assist in displaying accessories, clothing in show room area
Responsible in keeping parts and shipping area clean and organized.
Opening and closing Shop ROs
Assist service techs with getting/ordering parts
Broad knowledge in:
-recreation vehicles
-retail sales
-computer applications
Above average skills in:
-organizing and cataloging items
-phone skills
Excellent skills in:
-Customer Service
-Balancing parts stock to keep on hand vs parts to order when needed
