Description

Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage the ISM Canada team of architects to deliver thought leadership and well-architected solutions to ISM Canada customers in the areas of enterprise, application, and infrastructure architecture.
Meet regularly with customers to participate in projects, planning sessions, discussions, and sales meetings to help ensure that ISM is seen as a trusted advisor and industry leader.
Provide input to future strategies and directions for ISM Canada, including identifying possible service offerings to the marketplace, developing and refining financial models, and identifying ISM Canadas own technology roadmap for future offerings.  
Represent ISM Canada, or the customers technology group, on Architecture Review Boards, Change Advisory Boards, or Management Oversight Committees as appropriate / required.
Implement an effective management and reporting system to quantify the benefits of Architecture services to our customers.
Manage the Architecture Services team, including the performance management  of staff, determining staffing levels, interviewing and hiring, establishing annual budgets, training plans, and all other duties associated with effective management of a team.
Work with other ISM Canada and IBM groups and personnel to leverage knowledge, tools, and training in order to optimize service delivery quality and costs.
Provide ongoing technical/operational/managerial guidance to a team that will consist of a combination of direct-line employees as well as indirect employees who report to other managers.
Responsible for department budget control.
Other duties as appropriate and required.
