Description

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler who is responsible for the development of a detailed schedule and work plan to support the daily activities of the Maintenance Department.  In collaboration with the Maintenance Coordinators, a daily, weekly and monthly schedule of maintenance activities is developed.  The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the effective utilization of maintenance resources and the optimization of planned and scheduled work.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop a detailed daily, weekly and monthly schedule for the Maintenance Department that optimizes the balance between preventative maintenance activities and planned corrective maintenance. Collaboration with the Maintenance Coordinators and Maintenance Supervisors is essential to the development of an effective, resource loaded schedule. Obtain feedback from the Maintenance Coordinators on work progress to ensure the schedule is adjusted accordingly. Monitor metrics established to identify the efficient utilization of maintenance resources.
Provide input related to utilization of maintenance resources to the yearly repairs and maintenance budget.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years working in an industrial complex, a high school diploma, and a technical diploma and/or trade certification. Other qualifications include:
Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is considered an asset. Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral)
