Regional Director - Employee Health & Support Services

Facility:   Regional Office (Weyburn)

Hours of Work:  37.50 hours per 1 week rotation

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President Human Resources, the Regional Director Employee Health and Support Services is accountable for leading and supporting region-wide services in the areas of Disability Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Employee Health & Wellness, and Attendance Management. The incumbent will, in accordance with the vision, goals and objectives of the Sun Country Health Region goals, assist in the development and implementation of new and existing staff health services and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
- Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- In depth knowledge of principles of collective bargaining agreement application and interpretation, and related provincial legislation
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective teams and maintain relations based on trust, accountability, and open communications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of applicable legislation (OH&S, WCB, Labour Standards, Human Rights, HIPA)

Experience:  Minimum of 3 years experience in disability management and/or occupational health and safety (preferably in health care), including at least one year in management.
