The Retail Services Operations Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of all book and textbook merchandise and operational aspects of Retail Services including human resources, finance, marketing, customer service, and facilities. In collaboration with the Manager, Retail Outlets, the incumbent is responsible for operations that generate approximately $11 million in sales and that include a central store specializing in text and trade book sales; three retail satellite outlets on campus providing University crested goods and clothing, school supplies, one retail post office, confections and gifts; a card office; an off-campus retail location; and an online storefront. The Retail Services Operations Manager will deliver on the goal of the Bookstore to be a key partner in delivering on the academic mission by adding value and creating an experience for students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors that creates affinity and brings them back to Retail Services.
