Description

Under the oversight of the Manager of Family Support Services, you will be responsible for supervising the Intensive Family Support and Families First Programs by:
-Providing ongoing case supervision, coaching/mentoring and performance evaluation for in-home support staff.
-Intake duties & management of waitlist, as well as assignment and evaluation of staff caseloads.
-Day to day support, problem solving and ensuring quality & consistency of program delivery.
Liaising with front line staff and supervisors at the Ministry of Social Services.
-Assist Manager with hiring, orientation and training of new staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of child development and positive parenting strategies.
Demonstrated knowledge of supports & services within Regina community.
Strong decision making, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.
Solid understanding and application of personal& professional boundaries.
Good observation skills.
Strong computer skills including use of Word, Excel, and data management system.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Detail oriented and highly organized.
Solid written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
Knowledge of Saskatchewan child welfare system.
Must be comfortable working within the community and in client's homes.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies.
Ability to supervise staff including; providing coaching/mentoring and performance evaluations/feedback.
