Description

This position is located in Cut Knife, SK.  The successful applicant will work under the direction of Town Council. He/She must possess excellent supervisory skills, public relation skills and have a working knowledge of the operation of a variety of different pieces of equipment (Grader, bobcat, mowers, etc.)as this person will be responsible for carrying out the public works functions in the town. The candidate will be required to live in the community. Being in possession of or obtaining a Level II Water Treatment and Distribution Certificate as well as Level I Waste Water Treatment Certificate would be a desirable asset but not necessary to placement. This training requires a Grade 12 education or equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants who may already hold these certificates, however the Town of Cut Knife is prepared to provide the opportunity to obtain them.

Applicants must provide a current driver's license abstract with their application and a criminal record check upon being hired to the position.

The Salary will range between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour depending on qualifications. A Pension plan & benefits package is available. The optimum candidate will be an individual who has acquired a Level Two Water Treatment & Distribution and Level One Wastewater Treatment Certificates.
