With annual sales of $250,000,000 and an employee compliment of 500 the Human Resources Officer will report to the Human Resources Manager. Key areas of focus will be resourcing, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, records management, policies and procedures. Applicants will have a Human Resources Degree or Diploma with 2 4 years of experience and CHRP designation preferred. Must have demonstrated effective communication, problem solving and co-operation skills developed in a team setting. Previous experience in a unionized environment would be an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to assume responsibility and complete tasks without direct supervision exercising discretion and judgment to make decisions within scope of assigned duties.
