Description

Nature and Scope:
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader for our Gymnastics Programs. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the instruction of the following classes:
Tumble Tots (ages 2-4) Saturdays 11:30am-12:00pm
Beginner Gymnastics (ages 5-9) Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm
Family Gym & Swim (all ages) Saturdays 1:30-3:30pm
The program will run for 10 weeks sessions in Fall, Winter and Spring starting September 17th. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and instruction of classes and will report to the Program Director.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years training in Gymnastics with positive references
-Previous experience and positive references related to working with children
- Instructing experience (Gymnastics Coaching Level 1 Certificate would be an asset)
- Strong Swimmer-may be required to show proof of last swimming level completed.
- Strong communication skills with children and adults
- Reliable and punctual
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification


Responsibilities:
- Plan and instruct our Gymnastics classes and our Family Gym & Swim Program
- Create and keep detailed lesson plans for classes
-Keep accurate attendance records
-Provide a safe and caring environment where children are able to learn the fundamentals of Gymnastics
-Be approachable and encourage feedback of the program

Must be available to start Saturday, September 20,2014.
