Humboldt Home Hardware is seeking to fill this FT or PT position. The successful candidate would be a part of the Management team, as well as being responsible for hiring and overseeing Administrative personnel.
The candidate should have post-secondary education in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. The candidate should possess intermediate level Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word. Knowledge of Simply Accounting would be an asset. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, as well as, decision making, supervisory and time management skills.
The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in preparation of monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, capital asset listing, inventory reconciliation, initial budget preparation, yearend processing and preparation for accounting firm. They will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable. They will also process a bi-weekly payroll and act as Payroll and Benefits Administrator.
