Precision Electro Mechanical is a Saskatoon based business focusing on the sales and service of electric motors, pumps and VFD's.
Our client base is very diverse, consisting of mining, large and small industrial users and municipalities.
Successful candidate must be skilled in field data collection, analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, estimating and installations. Field balancing, laser alignment interpreting data and producing vibration reports compromise the majority or work. The successful candidate must possess excellent organization, writing and verbal skills in relation to the technical aspects. In addition, the ability to work within time deadlines is critical.
Requirements:
Technician with at least 2 years of job related experience
Good mechanical knowledge base of mining, plant and building equipment such as compressors, fans, gear boxes and motors
Investigate and troubleshoot vibration issues
Ability to weld is a definite asset
Excellent communication and a good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office is a must
Vibration analyst Level II (or level III) preferred
Some travel is required occasionally outside the urban area, depending on demand
