We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Flat Products group in our Regina facility as the Lean Leader. As a Lean Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing overall operational strategies including process, equipment, and manufacturing improvements, maximizing plant throughput, creating synergies within and between facilities, and creating a Lean Manufacturing organization
Requirements:
To qualify, you must have an engineering degree (or 5-8 years extensive experience implementing Lean), combined with a minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment in an engineering, lean manufacturing, strategic operational role; experience in Steel industry an asset.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability in leading improvement projects, diverse teams, and planning, budgeting and process change management. Strong conflict resolution skills, excellent organization skills, strong business acumen, combined with exceptional communication skills are also required.
