Thank you.
Verb is a weekly paper, with new issues coming out every Friday.
Delivery is performed each Friday between 10:00am-5pm.
A vehicle and driver's license are required for this job. Any vehicle
will do, even a small car is sufficient to hold enough papers to
complete the required stops.
Drivers meet at the Verb office at 10:00 on Friday morning, load
their vehicles with papers and receive their stop list for the day.
Drivers proceed to each stop on the stop list (local businesses),
retrieve any remaining papers from the previous week and replace
them with current papers.
Any old papers are brought back to the vehicle, and a rough
estimate of their number is recorded for each stop on the stop list.
At the end of the day, all old papers are taken to a recycling bin and
the completed stop list is returned to Verb.
Each driver receives about 100 stops for the day, and if they finish
early additional stops are available to allow drivers to earn extra
pay.
Verb pays a set amount for each distribution area plus .50/stop,
for an average pay of about $18/hour.
