The OBASA Group of Companies is looking to add a Senior Accounting Clerk to its Administrative team. OBASA is involved in corporate housing, real estate development and property management in Canada and the U.S. This is a busy position that works with a number of related companies. The Senior Accounting Clerk reports directly to the Controller. This position is primarily responsible for daily data entry and banking for a number of interrelated companies. In addition to daily responsibilities, this team member assists the Controller with weekly, monthly and year end reports, working papers and reconciliations. This position also provides a certain amount of executive assistant function to the CEO.
We are seeking candidates who have or are working towards an accounting diploma from a recognized Canadian Institution together with some directly related experience. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred. Outstanding interpersonal skills are a definite requirement.
