Description

AMECs Mining & Metals business unit has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supplier Coordinator located at our Legacy project site in Bethune, SK.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing current and future site installation contracts and equipment purchase orders
Coordinating and executing onsite supplier agreements for commissioning of equipment
Developing an overall integrated project supplier schedule, and ensuring the integrated supplier schedule is fully aligned and integrated within the overall project schedule
Maintaining the accuracy of the supplier schedule throughout the life of the project
Ensuring supplier cost saving measures are implemented, suppliers are properly prepared to be received at the site, scheduled for site orientation upon arrival, and coordinating the need of supplier accommodations at camp, or off site
Facilitating and monitoring supplier performance as well as providing formal feedback to management
suppliers and each of the various project groups
Verifying supplier commissioning invoices at site
Role Requirements
Minimum of 10-15 years experience in Supply Chain Management within contract development and management in a Construction environment
Excellent knowledge of the various phases of a project and the responsibilities assigned to each of the various project management groups
Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Completions and Commissioning, Health and Safety, and operational processes at each stage of the project
Excellent analytical and communications skills
Ability to work at an advanced level with all Microsoft Office applications and scheduling software
Experience on a mega project would be an asset
