Expocrete an Oldcastle Company serves Western Canada with quality products, outstanding customer service and is the leading manufacturer and marketer of concrete products. Our Saskatoon team is now seeking energetic, motivated and reliable Machine Operators and General Laborers to become members of our production team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor: strength and manual dexterity required
The ability to work at heights and to lift between 11 and 28 kilograms
Mechanically inclined - will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools, and various forms of machinery
Willingness to complete a variety of work assignments
Good housekeeping practices support and maintain 5S plant-wide
Able to withstand the working conditions associated with concrete product manufacturing (extended periods of standing, noisy, etc.)
Assist with the efficient production and movement of products according to established procedures
Must be a champion of safety practices and adhere to all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License is preferred, as bus service is limited
Previous experience in the manufacturing or building materials industry is preferred
Wet cast experience would be considered an asset
Forklift experience would be an asset
Reliable, task oriented individual who wants to learn
Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
Ability to work extended shifts when required (8-10 hours)
