Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services is now inviting applications for (1) permanent full-time, Human Resources Clerk for the community of La Ronge, under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will be required to assist the Human Resources Department such as recruitment, job analysis, employee relations, benefits and employee retention.
Duties:
- Assist in the recruitment process through various tasks and activities including, but not limited to, posting job vacancies, preparing and maintaining new recruitment files, scheduling interviews and preparing interviewer packages;
- Responding to external applicants and preparing offer letters, maintaining and closing competition files;
- Preparing new hires packages and scheduling orientation training; Opening, maintenance and closing of personnel file and database management;
- Effectively deals with highly sensitive and confidential information;
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or designate;
Qualifications:
- Minimum certificate in Human Resources and/or Business Administration Certificate;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Human Resources and/or Office Administration;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience and knowledge with computers and office equipment is an asset;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Security Clearance: Current Criminal Record Clearance/Child Abuse Record Check and Driver's Abstract required upon hire;
Salary/Wage: $ 16.807 - $18.916 (depending on Education and Experience).
