SEEKING A PERMANENT FULL TIME IN HOME CHILD CAREGIVER For A Private Household
(NOC 6474-C)

A permanent full time child caregiver (must at least be willing to sign a two (2) year work agreement) is required to provide care for three (3) children ages 6,5 and 2 in a private household. Starting wage is: $12.00/hr with 40 hour work week. Over 44 work hours will be paid over time rate. No benefits is available at this time. Applicant must meet the following requirements:
Completion of some post secondary education.
Completion of minimum 6 months care giving training course.
Possession of valid first aid certification and updated CPR training.
Mandatory Criminal Record Check.
Must be able to speak,read,write and comprehend English language.
0-6 months of care giving experience.
Optional accommodation available at no charge for caregiver on a live- in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment. In- home accommodation will include a private furnished bedroom with dead bolt lock,cable TV and free access to hi-speed internet.
Caregiver is expected to assume full responsibility of child care and household management in absence of parents such as assist in meal planning and preparation, organize children's activity, homework assistance, laundry, running errands,tending to children's emotional being, other routine housekeeping tasks and children's disciplinary actions as directed by parents.
