Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, you will:
-Maintain authorized changes to various systems,
-Assist in ensuring proper scheduling, restoring, rotation, storage, monitoring and operation of the server back-up service,
-Develop and maintain thorough familiarity and sound working knowledge of all software programs,
-Provide assistance in deploying and maintaining various systems,
-Provide timely support to end-users with PC problems troubleshooting,
-Install and maintain hardware/software for end-users,
-Diagnose and resolve software/hardware problems,
-Timely develop, execute and distribute reports both monthly and as required for analytical, statistical and operational purposes,
-Support and train staff in the use of personal computers and related software.
As the successful candidate, you have:
-A Grade 12 diploma plus two years of formal education or equivalent; a two year program includes completion of CUIC Management Studies Program plus one to three years of job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience,
-Secondary education in computer science or diploma in computer information systems or Hardware\Network discipline,
-Exposure to basic computer security concepts,
-Experience in basic Desktop Hardware/Software troubleshooting,
-Desktop application training (word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, electronic schedulers),
-Exposure to basic computer security concepts.
