The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp  Rocanville, located in Southeast Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Mine Engineer, the Mine Engineering Technologist will be responsible for surveying mining operations using Total Stations, monitoring ventilation and rock mechanics, and the automated drafting with MicroStation and AutoCAD.  This position will assist with mine engineering projects as required.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a Grade 12 diploma, supplemented by a Mine Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma, and one or more years of related experience.  Significant education and/or experience in a mining or construction setting may be considered as equivalent.  Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
