To provide complete care and supervision of two children (ages 3 and 5) in the absence of the parents: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, prepare healthy meals/snacks, play educational games appropriate to the children's ages, sing songs, read stories, take to/from activities where necessary, assist with homework, ensure their safety, teach manners and life skills, provide emotional support.
Light housekeeping: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, tidying up, clean kitchen and bathrooms, laundry, collect house garbage and recycling and help prepare family meals.
Terms of employment: full-time and live-in, 44 hours/week, Mon-Friday, some flexibility might be required.
Wage: $10.59/hr, overtime will be paid as per SK Employment Standards.
Education: Completion of High School (or equivalent)
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak, read, write English
Work Setting: private home
Work location: reside in private household for the duration of employment-private accommodation will be provided.
Room and board of $250/month will be deducted.
