Description

The following position is hereby posted in accordance with Article 9 of the Collective Agreement between Saskatchewan Government Employees Union and Rainbow Youth Centre.
Duties;
Planning nutritious menu in accordance with Canada Food Guide
Preparing supper for approx. 30 each day (Tuesday to Friday @ 4:45pm)
Preparing snacks for programs as required.
Purchasing groceries within a set budget
Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area daily, weekly, monthly
Supporting and instructing youth on kitchen procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education or experience in planning and preparing meals
Able to work independently and work well in a fast paced environment
Valid Drivers licence a requirement
Safe Food Handling certificate (asset)
Demonstrates effective communication skills

Hours of work:  25 hours a week, some flexibility available ( weekend work not required)
