Morris Industries is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of air seeding, tillage and hay hauling equipment.  We are currently seeking to fill permanent, full-time Electronics Technician position to join our Research and Development department in Yorkton SK.

The Electronics Technologist will provide technical expertise by providing product improvements and project development. The primary design work will be focused in the areas of drive control systems used within agricultural air seeding systems.

The selected candidate will also be required to assist the R&D team by providing technical expertise when needed. Seasonal travel will be required to setup and troubleshoot the electronic monitoring systems used within the Aircart.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Design and manage projects
Work closely with OEM vendors, to ensure technical requirements are met
Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of air seeder monitoring systems
Write technical training documents, preform training demonstrations
Other assigned tasks as required

Qualifications:

Knowledge of agricultural ISO-BUS systems, an asset
Knowledge of direct drive electric motors, solenoids, electronic speed controls systems, circuit breakers, DC generators, and hydraulic systems
Experience with Agriculture electronics, GPS systems
Strong computer skills, incl. experience with 3D CAD (Pro Engineer) & Microsoft Office programs
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong technical aptitude
Demonstrate expertise for innovation
Must possess great problem solving abilities
