POS Bio-Sciences is a confidential contract research organization that assists clients with process and product development. We are

As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that processes are carried out with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
o Hands-on operational duties, such as setting up, operating and cleaning production equipment including centrifuges, pumps and valves
o Working on a variety of processes such as processing Edible Oil, Oilseed Pressing, Solvent Extraction, Protein Isolation and Spray
Drying and with a variety of products (oils, fats, proteins, algae, etc.)
o Ensuring processes are carried within the guidelines of Standard Operating Procedures and GMP
o Participating in continual improvement of processes by bringing forth recommendations to increase productivity and processing capabilities
o Responsible for reporting maintenance and operational variances
Needed Skills
o Minimum of Grade 12, with strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
o Takes initiative and is a team player
o A strong command of the English language (both written and spoken)
o Knowledge of GMP, WHMIS, HACCP would be an asset
o Ability to work rotating shift, with occasional weekends
