YMCA Youth Instructor
Youth Instructors are required for YMCA youth and leadership programs. Programs include, but are not limited to drop in youth program, preschool programs and child minding. Youth Instructors work directly with the Membership Directors in implementing all youth and leadership programs.
Duties and Expectations:
-Responsible for supervising children in the YMCA youth and preschool programs.
-Plan, coordinate and implement fun, safe activities for children in your programs.
-Provide leadership and guidance to youth.
-Assist other departments within the YMCA when needed.
Skills Required:
-Experience working with children.
-Experience in lesson planning.
-Strong leadership skills.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Ability to work well in a team.
-Ability to handle several different tasks at once.
Hours of Work: Saturday Morning and potentially weekday evenings
