Adecco Employment Services is recruiting for a 3rd or 4th year Truck and Transport Mechanic for a full time permanent role here in Saskatoon.
Our client is a well established locally owned company located in the Saskatoon market for over 40 years.  As part of this role you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of trucks, equipment and facilities as required. The position will work a fixed 2 week rotating schedule -  week 1; 6am  3pm (Mon - Fri), week 2; 9am  6pm (Mon - Fri).  Overtime is not guaranteed but will be available as needed. Wage for this role is based on experience and education combined. This position will include a strong benefit and pension after three months of employment.

Responsibilities for the Mechanic Job include;
- Maintain and repair of equipment both mobile and stationary
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment
- Preventable maintenance of all equipment
- Work with in a team environment

Qualifications include;
- 3rd or 4th Apprentices (heavy duty mechanic or truck and transport mechanic)
- Background working with heavy equipment is ideal
- Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is essential
- Knowledge of electronic and pneumatic control systems
- Able to work with in a team environment
- Class 5 drivers license with acceptable abstract required
- Clean criminal record

As a condition of employment our client requires all new employees to pass a substance test within two weeks of their hiring date.
