Olympic Taxi is looking for taxi/shuttle drivers in the Melville area. This is a full-time, on-call position and mainly involves the transportation of railroad crews within a 500km radius of Melville. Applicants must have a Class 1, 2 or 4 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract and be an experienced, confident highway driver. Preference is given to applicants living in or near Melville as drivers are often needed ASAP.
Vehicles are company owned, modern, meticulously maintained and stored in a heated garage. Various features have been added to enhance driver safety and comfort including high powered auxiliary lighting for night driving.
Daytime wages average $17/hour and overtime is paid ($25.50/hour) for all trips and shifts starting between 10pm and 4am. Dedicated drivers can make $1000+ per week.
