This is an excellent job opportunity for motivated individuals looking to play a key role in geotechnical software development for a rapidly expanding company.
Duties:
-    Design, document, & provide support for geotechnical models requested by clientele.
-    Design, document & test geotechnical models on company software.
-    Perform training on software products to clients
-    Review and understand technical documentation including test plans, requirements specifications, database diagrams, design specifications.
-    Maintenance of existing documentation for company software.
-    Design and document test cases.
-    Test, discover, and document software defects.
-    Report status of testing efforts to supervisor.
-    Documenting design and code based upon company standards.
-    Participate in team design reviews.
-    Introduce, promote, and support our products and services with existing clients as well as develop new opportunities.
-    Managing geotechnical software projects.
Qualifications:
-    Masters or PhD degree in geotechnical engineering
-    Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, and programming practices.  
-    Detailed knowledge of finite element method (development experience preferred).
-    Familiarity with C#.NET, VB.NET and/or Java languages (object oriented technologies) an asset.
-    Geotechnical consulting related to numerical modeling a benefit
-    Skilled in the use of computer with MSOffice & able to learn new software quickly.
-    Personable & able to establish a relationship & communicate with clientele.
-    Demonstrated ability to express ideas and concepts effectively orally, visually and in writing.
-    Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
