We are an award-winning IT service provider and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Analyst for a full time employment.
Perfect candidates MUST have:
- Recent experience working with medium sized businesses or as a part of IT helpdesk;
- Communication skills as most of the work will be on-site client-facing service calls;
- Experience in project planning and managing junior resources would be an asset;
- Experience with hosted solutions (Office 365, Hosted Exchange server, etc.);
- Server & Network administration and troubleshooting experience - Windows server, Hyper-V, Exchange server, firewall setup and Management (MCP Certificate would be an asset);
- Experience managing and monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks using RMM tool;
- Worked with File- and Image-level backup solutions;
- Follow and participate in developing procedures and technical checklists;
- Positive attitude to work and life;
- Valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
What your work week will look like:
- Combination of on-site service calls (99% will be within Saskatoon city limits) and in-shop work every day;
- Email or Server migration project almost every week;
- Monitoring client's networks and backup reports;
- Assisting with choosing the best technical solution for the client's situation.
You HAVE to be comfortable doing the following:
- Server upgrade / migration;
- Managing server environment with multiple physical and virtual servers (Hyper-V, eSXI, vSphere);
- Email migration (from POP or on-premise Exchange server to Hosted Exchange server);

Specific Skills
- Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
- Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade web-server hardware and software
- Set up local area networks and connections to the internet
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
