The Town of Ituna is a vibrant community seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Town Foreman.
The successful applicant should be a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for the effective management, operation, and maintenance of a Water Treatment & Distribution Plant Class I, and Waste Water Treatment and Collection Class I.  

Qualifications: The preferred candidate will possess a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent and have related practical experience and strong background knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure.  The applicant must possess or be willing to obtain required certificates (first aid, WHIMIS, Power Mobile Equipment Operators Certificate) and have mechanical and computer aptitude as this position requires basic mechanical skill and experience operating and maintaining municipal machinery.   The candidate must possess Class 5 drivers and provide at the interview a driver?s abstract and a criminal records check.

The position requires some shift work, call back and standby including nights and weekends, therefore residency will be required. The successful candidate must be able to work without supervision, be self-motivated and willing to accept instructions and direction.
