A young man who is in a wheelchair and on a
ventilator requires an attendant to take him to
movies, sporting events and other social
activities. The time required is about 4 hours
twice a week in the afternoons and/or evenings.
Duties:
1. Suctioning and other procedures related to
his ventilator. (training is provided)
2. Feeding him.
3. Ensuring his needs are met.
4. Driving his accessible van.
5. Operating the van chair lift.
6. Making life easier for him & his family.
7. Being his arms & legs.
Transportation/Travel Information
- Valid driver's licence
Specific Skills
- Drive household vehicle
