Description

Position Responsibilities:

         Partner with MET associate responsible for labeling and PIDs at the beginning of shift to obtain completed daily PIDs
         Determine action required for all PIDs  and partner with respective store personnel ( DSs and ASMs)to communicate research that is required for PID variances
         Ensure all PID research is conducted within 7 days from when the PID was loaded and counts were posted
         Trigger and post store generated PIDs as required.
         Assist DSs and ASMs with PID research and ensure all reasons for variances are well documented
         Provide Store leadership team with game plans on re-occurring variances in the same categories or articles
         Maintain the cycle counts research and documents for audits and bi-weekly store ops meetings
         Execute emergency price changes outside of MET hours
         Working closely with the receiving team to determine the freight flow and assisting with sorting and purging receiving
         Moving freight safely from receiving to designated staging areas using the appropriate equipment as necessary
         Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shoppability so that merchandise is accessible, customers are able to move through the aisles easily and merchandise is presented in a visually appealing manner
         Cleaning and maintaining receiving area (e.g. removing pallets and cardboard boxes from the floor, using compactor and bailer, clearing area to make room for new merchandise)
         Maintaining lift equipment and other receiving related equipment (i.e. scan guns) ensuring that it is ready prior to the start of the freight team.

Knowledge/Experience Required    

Knowledge of and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Very good working knowledge of myStoreTools
High level of computer proficiency
Analytical skills
Familiarity with merchandising practices at The Home Depot
