POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the major projects department in the project delivery office, you will be reporting to the manager, engineering.  You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of multi-discipline engineers for projects within Camecos major projects portfolio.  These projects will be executed both within Cameco and by outside vendors providing engineering consulting services to Cameco.

The role consists of ensuring engineering work is done in accordance with Camecos processes, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.  You will be responsible for integrating engineering oversight, processes and discipline design standards used on major projects.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:    
    Bachelors degree in engineering
    Minimum of ten years of progressive engineering and supervisory experience
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    You must be eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)    
    Strong communication and problem solving skills
Assets:
    Experience in process and mining operations
    Experience managing multi-discipline engineering deliverables on large capital projects
