Description

JNE Welding has been providing quality custom steel fabrications for the resource based industries, for over 30 years, gaining the reputation of being a fabricator of choice. We are located in Saskatoon, SK and proudly serve mining, oil and gas, environmental, construction, oil sands and utility providers. We provide a challenging, stable, positive and rewarding work environment.

We currently have an opening for a full-time Quality Control Inspector on our night shift.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

*  Visual and dimensional inspection of items fabricated referencing approved drawings, codes, specifications and tolerances.
*  Dimensional inspection specific to overall lengths, material size, depths and thickness, hole locations and sizes, weld locations, checking for square and parallel, appearance and workmanship.
*  In house Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspections and interpretation of results.

Preference will be shown to candidates who possess:

*  Quality Assurance experience in custom fabrication industry.
*  Ability to interpret codes and standards related to steel fabrication industry.
*  Knowledge and training in various NDT, and destructive testing methods.
*  Ability to read and interpret and drawings and weld symbols.
*  Working knowledge of hydrostatic gauge and test equipment.
*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*  Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
*  Ability to work self-directed with effective time management skills.
