Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Canada, Ltd. (MHPSC) is a major supplier of custom welding, machining, assembly, and field services to the energy industry in Canada and around the world. We are currently seeking two Parts Preparation Operators to join our highly skilled team at our manufacturing plant in Saskatoon.

Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment
- Operating a variety of equipment including bending rolls, cutting table, iron worker, press drills, saw, and beveling equipment
- Move steel, plate, pipe, and tubing using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Follow engineering drawings
- Sort, identify, and allocate parts according to work orders and handling procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks on all equipment according to procedures
- General organization, housekeeping, and maintenance of the production facility and equipment

Requirements:
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience operating steel preparation equipment is an asset
- At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow engineering and work order documents
- Availability to perform shift work
