We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Piping Coordinator located at our KSPC Legacy project site. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring contract budgets and schedules, including hourly rate and firm price contracts.
Supervising and coordinates the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of works, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and design documents
Ensuring that AMEC and client Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs are implemented and adhered to at all times
Monitoring schedule and quantities of work completed, identifying mitigation strategies where required.
Coordinating site wide interfaces with multiple contractors.
Assisting the AMEC and Contractor team in the development of construction planning, reporting and methodology.
Ensuring AMEC team members as well as interfacing team members have a clear understanding of project and management requirements
Ensuring the quality control requirements are met during the construction phase.
Driving the turnover process by interfacing with a broad spectrum of project wide teams and through the assembly of completion packages, checklists and other construction records
Role Requirements
15 to 20 years directly relevant progressive experience (with 10 years supervisory experience) in the industrial piping construction industry is required
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications
Strong background in regard to piping, inspection, testing requirements and procedures and knowledge of piping codes, specifications and standards
Welding Engineering and knowledge of pipe and steel fabrication processes is a key asset
Excellent leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a large project team environment is required.
