Education:
Inter-provincial or Red Seal Certificate in the Agricultural Equipment Technician Trade preferred. 4th Year apprentices will also be considered. Preference will be given to those with a valid 1A license and SGI Safety Certification.
Skills and Abilities:
- Candidates must be technologically proficient with laptop diagnostic experience and well-rounded mechanical service experience in their respective field. Knowledge of agricultural equipment is required.
- Knowledge of Selective Catalyst Reduction(SCR), Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR), Diesel Particular Filter(DPF) and/or Adblue technology
- Strong computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
- Proficiency at reading and interpreting hydraulic and electric sche-matics
- Commitment to customer service and pride in quality workmanship

Required to have own tools.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification

- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Determine extent of repair required
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
