Cando Child Care & Development Centre Inc. is a government licensed and subsidized child care centre for children whose parents attend Cando Community School and community members. As a member of our staff you will provide 2 quality, nutritious snacks and one meal for the children who attend our centre daily. The Canada food guide must be followed for each of these three snacks/meals
Essential skills include:
-clean kitchen and work areas
-work with minimal supervision
-ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
-estimate food requirements
-plan menus
-cook all types of meals and snacks
-food safe certificate (Daycare will cover the cost to obtain)
-Child abuse registry check
-criminal records check
