Description

The H&S Training Manager is responsible to provide subject matter expertise and proactively support DMC to ensure all regulated training requirements are met across our workforce. The H&S Training Manager develops an annual training plan for management approval, and assists in developing the training components to support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the training plan and the overall HS Management System. The H&S Training Manager is a part of our Jansen and Corporate HSE teams and a key support to our Jansen Project.

- 10+ years of Health & Safety experience within the mining industry.
-  Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or the ability to achieve.
-  In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Health and safety acts and other related regulations.
-  Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, teaching, leadership and interpersonal skills.
-  Computer knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
-  Train Trainer Certified.
-  Mine Rescue and Emergency Response training skills / certifications
