Description

NORTEP/NORPAC invites applications for a live-in Assistant Apartment Manager/Maintenance person for its Student Housing Program.  Duties include but are not be limited to the following:

- General repair and maintenance of 64 apartment units.
- Maintenance of the mechanical and electrical systems in the partment blocks and four 4-Plex buildings.
- The maintenance of the grounds surrounding the apartments and janitorial work within two apartments.
- The security and supervision of the apartment blocks.
-  Apartment renovations and minor plumbing is involved.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time related to the management and maintenance of the apartments and instructional facilities.

Experience and knowledge of boiler systems, and good building maintenance would be an asset.  The successful candidate will possess good verbal and written communications skills.  Previous managerial experience and working within budget would be an asset.  The ability to work with and relate to the public is required.  A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.

Salary Grid $2431.00 - $3392.00 with benefit package.  Accommodation including utilities will be provided.
